As part of Canada’s efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and prevent importation, the government announces that as of November 21, 2020, all air travellers with Canada as their final destination will be required to use ArriveCAN to provide mandatory travel information required for entry into Canada.
In this sense, as of November 21, 2020, if you’re flying to Canada as your final destination, you must use ArriveCAN to submit; your travel and contact information; your quarantine plan (unless exempted under conditions set out in the mandatory isolation order); COVID-19 symptom self-assessments.
This information will have to be submitted before you board your flight to Canada and the ArriveCAN receipt will have to be shown when seeking entry into Canada. A border service officer will verify that you have submitted your information digitally.
