On Monday, Ottawa announced the reopening of the Canadian border to fully vaccinated Americans as of August 9, 2021, for non-essential travel, then to vaccinated travellers from around the world, as of September 7.
According to Canada’s Public Health Agency: “Thanks to the hard work of Canadians, rising vaccination rates and declining COVID-19 cases, the Government of Canada is able to move forward with adjusted border measures.”
